Only took me a week and a half to find a shop that had one. Damn you potholes and summer tires in the winter.
Here's a picture of my car and my father's f30 335xi.

Nope, the rim cut a little gash in the bead of the tire, under the sidewall, that caused the damage. Rim's fine as far as the tire place and I could tell. I guess I'll know for sure if the tire's flat in the morning.

I love when I get to drive that car, the thing is a beast

What tire did you go with?

Same one that came from factory, the dunlop sp sport 2050 225/40/18. I'm gonna run them out of miles and go with those Hankooks I think and some new wheels with the amount of money I'll save on not buying super fucking expensive tires.

Same here, I want Pilot Super Sports but 800 dollars for tires is too much!
What wheels are you going with? I can't decide between Rota Titans or Gram Lights 57xtremes. The 57s are twice as much as the Rotas but I will have piece of mind.

Hah, the Rota debate! I'm stuck there too. There's a bugeye down the street on some Rota Grid's in the same finish as I want, and they look amazing. It's a darker polished looking finish and I think it would look bad ass on my car as seen here -

Mmmm those look really nice. A lot of BMW people like Rotas for some reason, particularly the Grids. I think Titans would look beautiful on the car, and unlike tc105n they come in black.
Although, the 57xtremes are pretty much the sexiest thing out there. To bad they are 1500 dollars. Thank god I have 17s though. 18s would be closer to 2 grand!

Wow those 57xtremes look freaking amazing. Then again I haven't really seen a toyobaru on a set of non-shitty wheels that doesn't make it look better in some way or another. Such a hard decision to get right the first time.

Sometimes people don't quite have taste. I don't really mind if you get a cheap set of wheels but at least make sure they work with the car! I say go with a Japanese wheel maker, they know how to design them! I wouldn't mind getting a set of Work, but they seem to be more of a show wheel, plus they are heavy. Look damn sexy though.
Apparently you can fit a 19x10.5 in the fenders of this car.

what tire was so hard to find?

Dunlop sp sport 2050 in 225/40/18, Discount Tire was the only one I could find in the area that had one in one of their warehouses.

Did you try the dealer? We usually stock or can get the OE tires within a few hours to a day at the most.
